Veterans Build

Veterans Build Initiative

Habitat for Humanity’s Veterans Build is a national initiative to provide housing solutions and volunteer and employment opportunities to U.S. veterans, military service members and their families.

Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County is proud to announce that our affiliate is now part of HFHI’s Veterans Build Initiative.

We are currently seeking applicants from veteran families in Carroll County for our Critical Home Repair Program.  To be eligible, the homeowner must be a veteran or the widow of a veteran.

Applicants must meet the guidelines for our Critical Home Repair Program, which can be found here.  We may be able to assist with larger projects, based on supplemental funding for veterans. Types of projects could include handicap accessible ramps,  modifications to bathrooms for accessibility, replacing rotted wood, and exterior housing repairs.

If you are interested in working with HHCC and believe you qualify for the Veterans Build Program, we encourage you to complete the application and return it to Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County at 255 Clifton Blvd, Suite 310, Westminster, MD 21157 or by email to repairs@cchabitat.org.
