Great news! We have secured a prime location for our first Carroll County ReStore at 433 Hahn Rd. in Westminster and will open March 2021. This 25,000 sq. ft. space is going to help us raise enough to fund an entire home build every other year, serve our community by offering classes and workshops in our Community Meeting Room, recycle and save hundreds of tons of household goods from the landfill, and be a cool shopping experience as well. What is this magical place? It is a ReStore!
What is a Habitat for Humanity ReStore?
It’s a thrift store for new and used building supplies, furniture, and household goods. There are over 900 ReStores across America, but this is a first for Carroll County. |
Why should you support our ReStore?
We recycle goods to keep materials from the landfill, we provide a great place to shop, donate, or volunteer, and profits allow us to build more affordable housing in Carroll County! |
We still need your support to make this project successful. Here are ways to join our mission:
Bonus for our loyal supporters—If you sponsored Hammer & Ales last year, your 2019 contribution can be counted towards the next level of our ReStore sponsorships. For example, if you gave $250.00, you are already halfway to the $500 level! Contact Stephanie Averett for more information. |
