Novelis Aluminum Recycling Contest

Novelis, the world’s largest aluminum recycler, is supporting Habitat affiliate efforts to collect aluminum. We are participating in this grant opportunity and need your support! We can win $2,500 if we are in the top 100 Habitat affiliates. The first cycle is ending on July 31st, the second round ends mid-September.

How can you help? Bring your aluminum drink cans to our ReStore parking lot, located at 433 Hahn Rd. in Westminster. When you drop off, please feel free to take a picture and tag us on Instagram at #cchabitat!

Does your student need Service Learning hours?  It is easy to participate; just collect empty aluminum drink cans (like Coke) and deliver them our collection area at the ReStore.

To earn more hours, consider organizing a can drive. Time spent planning, setting up, collecting, and delivering cans will count. Keep a written record of your work. Also, take a photo of yourself delivering cans. You do not need any further documentation from Habitat. If you are able, we’d love if if you tag us on Instagram too (#cchabitat)!
