Habitat Happenings April 2020

Thanks to your past support, our Habitat partner families in Carroll County are in a safe, stable home in this time of crisis. Before Carol became a Habitat homeowner, she and her young son Levi lived in her brother’s basement. Prior to that, they had been homeless. Levi is a teenager now, and he’s a really great kid! Carol and Levi always enjoy each other’s company, but they appreciate that they can go into their separate bedrooms, providing some much-needed space in this shelter-in-place crisis. When you give a gift to Habitat, your donation will impact families now, for years to come, and for their future generations.

You helped us build safe, decent, affordable housing for Carol and eight other Carroll County families. We have a build scheduled to break ground this fall in Taneytown. This LEED Gold certified duplex will be home to two more families. With your generous donation, we hope to proceed with this build on schedule.

We need your support to help sustain our ministry through the uncertainties of the COVID-19 crisis. Your continued investment will help us support our homeowners without interruption and prepare to accelerate our upcoming projects once the crisis lifts.

Our goal is to raise $100,000.00 by September 30th. We ask that you act today by making an online gift. Your support will allow us to provide safe and stable homes for two more families. Thank you for your generosity!
