The Habitat ReStore is a home improvement store and resale center that sells donated furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity uses funds raised by its ReStores to help more families build, rehabilitate and repair their homes. At 24,800 square feet this is the second largest ReStore in Maryland!
“The opening of this new Habitat ReStore marks the latest step in our efforts to provide safe, decent and affordable housing throughout Carroll County,” said Bryan Lyburn, executive director for Carroll County Habitat for Humanity. “Shoppers can find unique and high-quality items, such as the beautiful mid-century modern Mobler Danish Teak dressers, nightstands credenza and stacking tables, but inventory changes frequently, so stop by soon and often. We wish to thank our donors, supporters, shoppers and the entire Carroll County community for helping to make this grand opening a huge success.”
Habitat ReStores rely on the generous donations of new and gently used household items, building supplies and furniture to help Habitat create homeownership opportunities. To arrange a pickup of a donation, please call Joel Garrett, ReStore donations ambassador at 410 751-5200 option 2.
Press Day Tours: Please join us at the ReStore on Wednesday, March 10 for tours and interviews with Habitat for Humanity staff members. There are two opportunities: 9:30-11 AM and 1:30-3 PM. Please RSVP by March 8 close of business.
