Critical Home Repair Program FAQs

Considering applying for a Critical Home Repair? First, check your eligibility status.

  1. Do you own your own home?
  2. Is your home located in Carroll County Maryland?
  3. Is your household income under $94,650.00?
  4. Is your home repair critical? We do not mow lawns or provide aesthetic changes, such as wallpaper removal or paint. We can help with many issues, however, they must be critical to the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners.

If you are interested in working with HHCC and believe you qualify for the Critical Home Repair Program, we encourage you to contact us at  Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County at 255 Clifton Blvd, Suite 310, Westminster, MD 21157 or by email to repairs@cchabitat.org.

After you apply, we will contact you to let you know if you qualify for a home visit to inspect what needs to be done and determine the extent of work that has been requested to make sure that it fits the scope of program. The Homeowner Contribution and Critical Home Repair Timeline graphics below will help you to determine if Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County is a good fit for your current needs.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Habitat office at (410) 871-4131.
