For 25 years, Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County has been bringing people together to build homes, strengthen neighborhoods, and create brighter futures for local families. On June 18, we had the incredible honor of celebrating this milestone with nearly 200 supporters, volunteers, sponsors, homeowners, and friends at our 25th Anniversary Celebration in Westminster, Maryland.
The evening was a true celebration of community—the heart of everything Habitat does.
Guests enjoyed a fun-filled night of mini golf, great food, music, laughter, and fellowship while reflecting on the impact that has been made over the past quarter century. More importantly, the event celebrated the thousands of people who have helped make affordable homeownership possible for families throughout Carroll County.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this special event such a success. We’d like to begin with our Development Committee (Sharon Tillman, Matti Franzen, Rich Navarro, and Jon Allen) as well as Shanna Alsop, who coordinated volunteers and provided much support as we prepared to host 200 friends. Last, but not lease, DJ Yeti kept the party going with his musical selections and trivia.

To everyone who attended, thank you for celebrating with us. Seeing nearly 200 members of our community gathered together was a powerful reminder that when people come together with a shared purpose, amazing things happen.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our volunteers, board members, staff, and event committee members who dedicated countless hours behind the scenes to plan, organize, set up, welcome guests, and ensure every detail was just right. This event simply would not have been possible without your hard work and commitment.
As we celebrate 25 years of service, we are filled with gratitude for all who have been part of this journey. Because of supporters like you, Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County has helped local families achieve the dream of homeownership and build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
While we are proud of all that has been accomplished over the past 25 years, we know our work is far from finished. The need for affordable housing in Carroll County continues to grow, and together, we can continue building hope for the next 25 years and beyond.
