Exciting news! We are now accepting applications for a new build in Taneytown, MD. This duplex will be LEED Platinum certified. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a green building certification program used worldwide and Platinum is the highest level of achievement.
We offer a hand-up, not a hand-out. Therefore, these homes will be sold to two deserving lower to middle income families living or working in Carroll County and will be financed with a low interest loan from USDA. Completed Applications are due are due on March 25, 2022 and we hope to break ground this summer. This duplex will be our 11th and 12th home ownership opportunities. Habitat is proud to be growing our Mission in Carroll County and to be serving working families in our community. We cannot wait to hand the keys over to two more happy families!
