Non-Construction Volunteers

Not everyone is interested in pounding a nail. Every person has different ideas, abilities, skills and interests, all of which are useful to Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County. We always need action-minded individuals to help on our committees! There are numerous small tasks that enable each committee to focus on its particular objective.

Committees Include:

  • Board of Directors
  • Development
  • Construction
  • Family Selection and Support
  • Finance

We often need weekday, daytime volunteers to assist with various light-duty office help. If you are interested in being added to our list for as-needed volunteer opportunities, please contact Michele Turner.

Scott visited the Carroll County Career & Technology Center today to present certificates and Habitat For Humanity swag to the carpenters that built Natasha's shed. These builders worked under the guidance of their instructor, Jon Mersinger. These young men did an outstanding job, with great attention to detail and workmanship! Scott said was nice to see a full class of future carpenters in the shop insuring that there will continue to be excellent home builders and craftsmen in our future! And a huge shout out to the Carroll County Career & Technology Center for making sure that our future employees/employers are learning valuable trades that aren't taught in colleges.
